How the programme works

Placement first. One guided week at a time.

Every learner follows the same accountable cycle while the grade, pathway, repertoire and correction remain individual.

01

1. Apply and prepare

A parent or adult learner creates an account, completes the musical-history and equipment check, and requests a placement assessment.

02

2. Demonstrate, don’t guess

The diagnostic samples technique, rhythm, reading, scales, harmony, hymn playing, listening, creativity and prepared performance. Secure skills can be tested out.

03

3. Receive a learning profile

The result records one core MPW grade, domain-specific strengths and needs, and any recommended specialist pathway.

04

4. Complete a four-week cycle

Each week presents a goal, short demonstrations, daily practice missions, an assignment, preparation for the live lesson, teacher feedback and a progress decision.

05

5. Progress by evidence

Attendance alone does not complete a grade. Students advance after the required work and exit competencies are demonstrated.
